Our craftsmen's created this miniature version of the “Spirit of Detroit”

In order to study various restoration techniques, patina finish and visual impact.

 

In July 2003 C.A.N. Art Handworks, Inc. was contracted by the Detroit-Wayne Building Authority to restore the guild surfaces of the “Spirit of Detroit”.

 

It was then that master craftsman Carl A. Nielbock discover the horrific vandalism and extensive corrosion ailing the “Spirit of Detroit”

prompting the restoration process.
